Cultivation Experiment of Direct Sowing-ratoon Rice and High-yielding Cultural Techniques of Direct Sowing Rice

Abstract:The cultural techniques of direct sowing-ratoon rice were studied with five rice hybrids as experimental material. The arrangement of main rice sowing date should be based on growth-development characteristics of varieties, and the suitable flowering stage of ratoon rice was arranged before mid-September. The tillering capacity of rice varieties was different, which affected panicle number of ratoon rice. Therefore, the appropriate varieties of direct sowing-ratoon rice should have strong tillering ability. The height of rationing panicles locating node was related to variety characteristics. The key cultivation techniques for direct sowing rice lied in ensuring uniform seedlings, controlling weeds, preventing lodge and controlling diseases & pests.
