Abstract Yongyou 1540, which derived from Yongjing 15A and F7540, is a temperature-sensitive hybrid rice variety bred by Ningbo Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Ningbo Seed Company. It was approved by China National Crop Variety Examination Committee in 2015. It had the characteristics of growth vigor, firm culm, high tillering ability, more productive panicles and high yield with direct sowing in Pushang Town in 2018.
